An accomplished business leader and renowned voice in the industries of technology, software development, and marketing, Michael E. Jordan—the CEO of his own firm and a consultant for an insurance company—has defied the odds and transformed a challenging early life into one of tremendous success and impact.
For 22 years, Mr. Jordan served prison time for a crime he committed, and during his sentence, he utilized his time by earning a California radiological technologist license and gaining a wealth of knowledge by reading books on metaphysics, politics, and theology. While incarcerated, he also attained a Bachelor of Theology from Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College in 1994. He served as a TB tester in San Quentin State Prison and as a licensed X-ray technologist for the California Department of Corrections over the course of a decade. Upon his release, he found employment at Sutter Lakeside Hospital, where he was a medical imaging technologist and a licensed x-ray technologist from 2002 to 2006. However, his health started to dwindle due to severe rheumatoid arthritis, which compelled him to go on disability and eventually retire from his role as aa technologist; in the midst of improving his health, he taught himself online marketing and sought to reinvent himself in the new field.
Driven by a strong work ethic and an unwavering dedication to his goals, Mr. Jordan found success as an independent associate at Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. from 2003 to 2010, a business owner at IncCare DME from 2012 to 2014, an affiliate of eVantage Financial from 2014 to 2015, as well as a financial services representative. He has been active as the owner, founder, and chief executive officer of his own Life Insurance Retirement Plan-based firm, Michael E. Jordan Group, LLC, since 2012—through which he created the Crowdfunded Cashback Community, “the world’s first international, by referral, members-only affiliate program,” available in 90 languages and 128 countriesThe company proudly pays 66 percent of all revenue back to the community members as referral commissions, and the program has since partnered with Amazon, Alibaba, and other affiliates. After achieving his release on parole in 2002, he was hired as an X-Ray Technologist at Sutter Lakeside Hospital, where he also learned to perform CT scans on. After 19 years in the medical imaging industry, Mr. Jordan began suffering from debilitating rheumatoid arthritis, which compelled him to retire, teach himself online marketing, and utilize his expertise in the business sector. Mr. Jordan helped to build companies like Pre-Paid Legal Services, InCare DME, Invite 5, and eVantage Financial. In 2010 he wrote the EzineArticle, Viral Marketing Millionaires, the progenitor to the CFCC, Crowd Funded Cashback Community affiliate marketing program.
Before establishing himself in his current role, Mr. Jordan was the chief executive officer, managing business partner, and co-founder of Business Partners Group, LLC, where he worked between 2015 and 2019.
